Christine Ferrigan

Ms. Ferrigan is a two-time whistleblower on water quality issues in Florida. First, in 2008, she blew the whistle on water quality issues in Boca Raton. The advocacy group Public Employees for Environmental Responsibility (PEER), described the significance of those issues. More recently, from 2018 until she was fired in 2022, Ms. Ferrigan blew the whistle and tried to correct serious water quality issues in Delray Beach. Like in Boca Raton, she was fired after enforcement actions were taken against the city. Ms. Ferrigan's story has been summarized in several publications.
