Oksana Bronevytska, holds a Ph.D.in Law from Ivan Franko National University of Lviv, in Ukraine. She is an Associate Professor in the Department of Criminal and Legal Disciplines at Lviv State University of Internal Affairs, teaching classes in international criminal law.Â
Oksana started working with the National Agency on Corruption Prevention in 2020, an anti-corruption agency of the Ukrainian Government, which is responsible for shaping and implementing anti-corruption policy, while creating an environment conducive to corruption prevention.Â
Additionally, Oksana is the CEO of the Foundation for Institutional Development, whose mission is to bring together experts, scientists and practitioners in the fields of anti-corruption, integrity and institutional development for the institutional support of Ukrainian institutions during the armed conflict and their preparation for post-war reconstruction. Â
Oksana has conducted training seminars for judges and legal aid lawyers on the peculiarities of whistleblowers’ protection in the civil, administrative and criminal procedure of Ukraine. She developed a pilot project on implementation of psychological aid to whistleblowers in Ukraine in association with the National Association of Psychologists of Ukraine, was the featured speaker at the first ever Parrhesia Conference exploring Trauma in Whistleblowing, and written extensively on international criminal law, criminal procedure and the impact of sexual and gender based violent crime during military conflicts.
