Lauren Anzaldo is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with the Gulf Coast Veterans Health Care System (VA), where she has been employed as Suicide Prevention Coordinator focusing on the Florida Panhandle area since June 2020. Prior to joining the VA, Lauren served as Clinical Supervisor for the U.S. Navy’s Fleet and Family Support Center aboard NAS Pensacola and, before that, as clinical manager with Pathways for Change, which operated a long-term residential SUD treatment program and a counseling and services center. Lauren earned her MSW from Florida State University and also holds a master’s degree in Criminal Justice and a Doctorate of Education from University of West Florida. Lauren is the proud spouse of a Navy veteran and mother of two teenagers.
