MEET THE SPEAKERS

Ekta is the Founder and Chairperson for Improving Healthcare Culture, Inc. She has over ten years of experience studying and working to address the workplace climate. She worked with a team of healthcare workers and formulated an intervention strategy to tackle these issues for an institution, for which a white paper has been published. In her PhD work in population health and health policy, she uncovered the mechanisms that allow a work climate to sustain workplace bullying and other aspects of poor psychological safety for nurses. She has presented ideas and strategies for policy and intervention to various leaders and at nursing conferences.
