MEET THE SPEAKERS
Heidi Haugland Walker
I work in the Norwegian Labour Inspection Authority as a senior inspector. My main tasks are
among others whistleblowing, receipt of notification, inspections, guidance, and project
management. I have a Master of Public Administration (MPA) and my master thesis from
2019 focused on whistleblowing. I have a special expertise in HSE, whistleblowing and
information security.
The Norwegian Labour Inspection Authority is a governmental agency under the Ministry of
Labour and Social Inclusion, focused on occupational safety and health. The agency's overall
objective is a healthy working environment for all, safe and secure employment conditions,
and meaningful work for the individual. We encourage enterprises to work systematically
towards compliance with the working environment, laws and regulations.
