Paul Sullivan

Paul Sullivan



Paul served as a cavalry scout in the U.S. Army’s 1st Armored Division during the Gulf War ground invasion of Iraq and Kuwait during February 1991.  Since his return home from the war, Paul became a life-long advocate for fellow Veterans.  He is the Director of Veteran Outreach at Bergmann & Moore, a VA-accredited law firm focusing exclusively on representing Veterans with a VA disability claim appeal before VA.  Paul recently served as Deputy Secretary of Communications at CalVet, as well as the executive director of Veterans for Common Sense and the National Gulf War Resource Center.   He also worked at VA as a project manager identifying, monitoring, and reporting on the healthcare and disability benefit use of Veterans, with a focus on Gulf War, Afghanistan War, and Iraq War service.  His military awards include the Army Commendation Medal, Southwest Asia Service Medal, and Georgia Army National Guard Meritorious Service Medal.  He earned his political science degree at the University of West Georgia using his GI Bill education benefits.  He completed his Master’s Certificate in project management at The George Washington University.
