Chido Onumah is the Coordinator of the African Centre for Media & Information Literacy (AFRICMIL), a non-governmental organization based in Abuja, Nigeria.

AFRICMIL’s good governance and accountability project (Corruption Anonymous) focuses on anti-corruption, transparency, and empowerment of citizens through whistleblowing to enhance good governance. 

AFRICMIL works with law enforcement and revenue-generating agencies in Nigeria, creating or integrating whistleblowing and whistleblower protection in their anti-corruption and transparency units. 

Onumah holds a Ph.D. in communication and journalism from the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, Barcelona, Spain. He serves on the Board of the Scotland-based Whistleblowing International Network (WIN).
