Ms. Garrick has many experiences when it comes to services regarding the military and veteran community as she has been involved for 30 years. Her experiences at the pentagon have done her great service as she has set up personnel programs for The Defense Suicide Prevention Office and Wounded Warriors. To further help defenses around the world, Ms. Garrick has also established a crisis hotline in Afghanistan and has investigated issues regarding the NO FEAR ACT violation. In turn, Ms. Garrick has experience in the political world of America as part of the Memorial Affairs Subcommittee, as she has draft legislation to assist disabled veterans and their families.
As Ms. Garrick's experiences have shown, she is well versed in protecting others and helping our veterans. Her studies in social work and Temple University has served her well throughout her career and she has shown time and time again she wants to make the world a better place for many people. Because of the impact of Ms. Garrick's deed she has earned many awards such as the Lincoln Award and a Secretary of Defense Medal for Exceptional Public Service.
