Scott Greytak is Deputy Executive Director of Transparency International U.S., the U.S. chapter of the world's oldest and largest anticorruption organization.
His work focuses on designing anticorruption laws and policies, organizing coalitions, and lobbying the U.S. Congress and administration. Greytak was named a Top Lobbyist by the National Institute for Lobbying & Ethics in 2021, 2023, and 2024, after TI US helped craft and pass the most significant U.S. anticorruption and anti-money laundering law in a generation (the Corporate Transparency Act) and the most important U.S. anti-foreign-bribery law in nearly 50 years (the Foreign Extortion Prevention Act).
Before joining TI, Greytak helped pass over a dozen state and local anticorruption reforms for the largest grassroots anticorruption organization in the U.S.; designed legal challenges to cases such as Citizens United v. FEC; and authored the leading report on judicial corruption in the United States. He holds Juris Doctor and Bachelor of Arts degrees from Ohio State University.
